galería perdida is proud to announce alvaro parra, our sound artist in residence. during his tenure here, he will explore, capture, and execute sounds that capture the ever-evolving culture found within Chilchota, Michoacan. Infused with indigenous texture, folkloric flavor and European influence, the sounds and noises heard across this quaint town create a challenging and eclectic array for parra's use alongside his film and live performances.
