Detritus, strips of colored paper, pencil marks and tape are a sampling of elements that make up Bianca Kolonusz-Partee's intervention for boxing:bianca. Taking her interest from the world's ports o call, she deconstructs these massive cities within a city into a painterly vocabulary, barring us from fully identifying the structures but still experiencing its presence. Kolonusz-Partee's edition marks the first "site-specific" work as she looks to Houston's harbor as her point of departure.

Two simple words mark Andres Janacua's edition of boxing:andres. Amidst a whimsical galaxy of stars, these two words encounter the viewer with an unexpected poignancy. Functioning more as an observation than a statement, Janacua's momentary pause of time remind us of a certain inevitable.
