galería perdida is pleased to announce the solo exhibition of Los Angeles-based artist, Julie Spielman. Spielman will be presenting a new body of work that is derived from her residency at galería perdida. This new work will explore the influences and subsequent relationships from her interactions with the town of Chilchota, Michoacán. The work will be installed by the artist herself, imperative to her process as she makes the once-autonomous objects, contextually bound. galería perdida is proud to present mi hija.

There will be a reception for the artist, July 14, 2007. 6-10pm. All are welcome.
