galería perdida is pleased to present elonda billera, with and again. We are never close enough as Billera suggests. The distance that harbors the space between us represents our own failings of maintaining the directive of any relationship. We understand yet, that certain things can at times speak for us there, in person. Still, most of these objects go on lifeless, lost of all intended meaning. Perhaps some day we will look at the object and remember the singular moment that brings us back to each other. Maybe this is the true meaning of things, not their present state, but of what happens to them many years from now.

elonda billera, with and again is available for viewing from January 17 - February 8 2009. There will be a reception, January 17, 5-7pm. All are welcome.
